This is supposed to be the scene from the opening.
On the left we have the mountain, on the right we have the, uh...planet-thingy that I forget the name of, and we have the chain that Sonic runs up between the two.
I used this to make a snapshot which I haven't yet uploaded.

This stage was at least partially based off of the sliding levels from Mario 64. Obviously, it's impossible to translate them into a 2.5-D game, but it's fun to romp around on this stage, anyway.
