I know you're probably thinking, "But there's already those other soccer levels!" This is played differently though. You can play in teams, or free for all without needing training mode for one thing (although waiting for a ball to drop can take a bit).
The way this is designed is that the bottom space (the 4th & 5th block sections from the bottom) is worth one point if you hit a ball into it. The top section (part near the conveyour belts) is 2. The middle platforms on each side (single drop-through platforms above the low goal) are worth 3. Remember though: the ball has to stop in the goal for it to count. If it bounces out, no points for you.
Since this is an SSB game, and there will be bodies flying for the ball, why not put that into the game as well? For every time you can smash someone into a goal with a ball, you get double the points of the normal goal. You might be wondering though, "That sounds cool (yay, conceit!), but how can I tell when I actually got a goal?"
Simple: if they are smacked into the goal and are in their 'Oh geez that hurt, I need to lay down for a bit' stance on the ground in a goal, that's when it counts. If they land, but do the recovery thing (pressing a sheild button before hitting the ground), or just get out of it in the air, no bonus for you.
"Yo, there's still one more thing... What if the ball gets hit out of bounds?" Well, this is Smash, so there aren't any formal restrictions, but you can either say they lost a point or keep going and ignore it. It depends on the play style of you and your friends.
Speaking of which, something that hasn't been mentioned is if a ball spawns in a goal. That's easy though, because if the ball wasn't smashed in there, or just even tapped, knock it out of there and start using it.
This is also a fun level to just fight in in general. If the conveyour belts annoy you during a soccer game, feel free to take them out.
Also fun is Sandbag Soccer: Use sandbags in place of a soccer ball. Harder to move, but he doesn't roll everywhere.
