Uh. Just asking, was that code for unlimited zoomout? If it was, then the part that defines exactly when it does is likely the incompatible part.
I'm a longtime Action Replay user, and I know from experience that incompatibility can cause funny side effects like this in any cheat system. For instance, I once tried a code for Mario Sunshine that would quadruple Mario's running speed while I hold up on the D pad, but it turns out it was a PAL code, so while AR accepted it (for the most part, NTSC and PAL AR codes are identical, except for a few variables, usually the end or beginning), the part that defined what it affects was incorrect, so instead it sped up all music and cutscenes four-fold. xD
