Now, remember this from Gold and Silver? You thought that you had mastered the greatest challenge of the game by defeating the (underleveled) champ, Lance, but who do you find at Mt. Silver? Right, it's Red the player character from the previous game! And he has Pokémon at levels that outclass every other Pokémon in the game - even legendaries.
(Of course the team is incomplete, since it is totally impossible to get Espeon in Brawl.)
