lol. suprisedthat nintendo were ok, with the word 'drug in earthbound, since drug would usually be something like thos dangerous one's, rather power-ups and medicecens

In Earthbound, the Drug stores was like a shop like most RPG games have. You bought power-ups there and you could save there too.
Drug stores was very important to you in Earthbound because without them, your characters would be very weak(unless you trained like crazy).
