Sponsorships

Brawl Snapshots has a sponsorship system, so that you can support the continued operation of the website while promoting your favorite snapshots and stages.

By donating some money to Brawl Snapshots, you get to choose a Snapshot or Stage that you want to see on the front page of the website.

Here's exactly how it works:

  1. To sponsor a snapshot or stage, go to its page and click "Sponsor It!" in the top left corner. You can use PayPal to donate any amount of money you would like. Multiple people can sponsor the same snapshot/stage.
  2. The front page displays the Top Sponsorships This Week right below the contest winners. These are the snapshots/stages that have been sponsored the most money in the last 7 days. You can click "(more)..." to see ALL of the ones that were sponsored in the last week, on the Items Sponsored This Week page.
  3. Therefore, if you donate enough money, your favorite snapshot/stage could be on the front page for a week, just like the Contest Winners.
  4. There is a Top Sponsored Items of All Time page that displays all the snapshots and stages that were ever sponsored. So if you donate enough money, your snapshot could be at the top of this list for a long time.
  5. Beneath each snapshot/stage, there are lines like this: "Sponsored by DavidEGrayson ($2.00) on 2008-06-13 at 13:22" that give you credit for your generous donation, with a link to your user profile.
  6. Anonymous sponsorships are possible; just Log Out before sponsoring.
